Bodiam Castle

Quite a lovely architectural masterpiece in a grand English setting, surrounded by a fantastic moat.

Damavand

I'd really like to find a good view of Iran's most prominent peak, Damavand. Possibly a perspective from Nava would do quite nicely.

Orizaba

Pico de Orizaba looks spectacular. Also nearby in the Orizaba area is a village called Aquila located at the bottom of a valley, which I imagine is like a Central American city in an eastern European setting. The beautiful terrain and the color decorating it is surely worth the visit, though.

Bioko

The island of Bioko, belonging to Equatorial Guinea, is the location of that nation's capital city Malabo. From here, there are spectacular views across the strait, over 20 miles long, all the way northeast to Cameroon on the mainland. This is quite possible due to one of creation's most amazing peaks, Mount Cameroon.

Also on Bioko is a peak of its own, Pico Basile, with great views of nearly the entire island. Not sure if it's climbable, though, considering Equatorial Guinea's "tiny African nation" status.

Tanjung Piai

Tanjung Piai is a Malaysian park located at mainland Asia's southernmost tip, and besides being beautiful, it's a very geographically-themed point of interest. Yeah, there's kind of a theme going on here with my recent posts. Still, this place looks quite lovely.

Babakale

Babakale is located on mainland Asia' easternmost point, in Canakkale. There is a very nicely-built fort on the Aegean coast with many things to compliment for their aesthetic appeal.

Kara River

The northern Kara River (specifically around the eastern area of Nenets) flows along spectacular Arctic scenery such as tundra and amazing gorges.

Nordkyn

Nordkyn is a location at mainland Europe's northernmost point, in Norway. Enormous cliff faces line the coast, and there appears to be a mood of loneliness and awe present. Maybe checking out Nordkapp and/or Knivskjellodden would be cool.

Cabo do Roca

Cabo do Roca in Portugal is, I believe, the westernmost point in mainland Europe. It's also a beautiful illustration of Psalm 24.

Big Ben

Big Ben is a huge icy peak on Heard Island, an Australian territory in Antarctica's general region. From the easternmost point of this island, on a very thin peninsula, is a spectacular view of the frozen above and the sandy below. I would love to come here just for this photo op.

Baie Larose

Baie Larose of Kerguelen Island has a beautiful coast, with many beautiful spires along it, complete with a view of the ice-frozen Mont Ross. Also, the "Doigt de Sainte-Anne" is located here, which is quite an amazing rock formation on the bay/bight's east coast.

Paterson Great Falls

Just heard this waterfall area in downtown Paterson, New Jersey, is about to be added to the National Park System. Looked it up, and it's actually quite a remarkable thing from what it seems. I'd like to check this place out; a tourist destination in New Jersey that isn't gambling-related sounds quite appealing.

"Cool Names Tour"

Basically, visiting places with unusual and/or amusing names in the United States (since it's more likely than the rest of the world). Here's a list I can add to here and there, I suppose:
  • Cheesequake, New Jersey
  • Kanakanak, Alaska
  • Kinikinik, Colorado
  • Natchitoches, Louisiana
Special mentions:
  • Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
