Sleeping Bear Dunes

This Michigan lakeshore has some sloping sandy coast that looks quite neat, I think.

McWay Falls

McWay Falls is located in the "Big Sur" area of California's central coast region, I think. Its surroundings are quite pretty, like a horseshoe-shaped peninsula with beach, lagoon-like water body, mountain, and waterfall.

Tiger's Nest Monastery

This cliffside monastery is probably the big famous travel spot in Bhutan. The setting does look very pretty, though.

Zuma Rock

There's this monolith or rock or something near Abuja, Nigeria. It's quite famous in the country, I think, and one of its distinct features is some splotch on it that people say looks like a face. Huh.

Masada

Masada appears to be a location of great historical significance. I think it's where Hanukkah got started, but it's not really a totally happy story it seems.

Hagia Sophia

I'd probably check out the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul mainly because it's famous.

Chambord Chateau

The Chambord Chateau is one of the largest "chateaus" in France, I think, and apparently it looks quite grand.

Banaue Rice Terraces

The famous rice terraces of Asia have many examples, it seems, and they certainly look pretty and pretty impressive, and it looks like the ones of the Banaue area are quite big and recommended.

Jaipur

There seem to be multiple places in Jaipur worth checking out.

The Hawa Mahal palace has quite a pretty-looking facade of windows and balcony-things. This thing is reported to have great views, near the top I imagine.

There's an astronomical place called Jantar Mantar with odd architecture nearby as well, it seems, which also looks interesting.

Horizontal Falls

The Horizontal Falls is a feature that occurs when strong tides and narrow gaps combine, I guess. It can be observed in northwestern Australia's Buccaneer Archipelago area, probably in multiple places. The archipelago itself looks like quite a romantic adventure destination.

Wolfe Creek Crater

This crater, classified as an impact crater I guess, seems cool. Aside from being a crater, it's also got a kind of three-ring design, it appears: a dark rim, a beige desert interior, with a green center. It seems that a crater has its own cute widdle biosphere or something. Aww.

Bungle Bungles

The Bungle Bungles, or Purnululu, are some multicoloredly-striped rock things that look pretty cool in the outback of Western Australia.

Blue Mountains

Blue Mountains National Park in New South Wales features spectacular views. It includes the "Three Sisters", which appear as monuments made of cliffs, and "Sublime Point", where one can possibly see for many miles.

Chapada dos GuimarĂ£es

The Chapada dos GuimarĂ£es is a beautiful place in Mato Grosso, Brazil, with waterfalls and amazing jungle-like scenery. There seem to be excellent views from the rim in some areas as well.

Chapada Diamantina

The Chapada Diamantina, or "Diamond Plateau" I think, is a neat valley/canyon thing in Bahia, Brazil, with green table-like mountains, waterfalls, pools, and caves, I think. Looks pretty, I think.

Wai'ale'ale

Mount Wai'ale'ale is one of the wettest places on land in the world. The scenery here, if visible, looks gorgeous, with tall slopes, many plants, and I think some of the planet's tallest waterfalls.

Cerro Verde

Cerro Verde national Park features two El Salvador volcanoes, particularly the large Santa Ana, with its interesting lake in its crater. There are likely good views of the nearby Lake Coatepeque.

La Santisima Trinidad de Parana

These ruins in Paraguay look quite large and isolated, apparently an old missionary colony of some sort of historical significance in the area.

Lauca

Lauca National Park features two huge volcanic mountains, which together look like quite a backdrop. There are gorgeous flat areas as well, and a lake, plus strange plants and birds I think.

Talampaya

Talampaya Canyon is an orange-red canyon setting, with features that are quite... vertical. It looks pretty cool, and there seems to be archaeological significance there as well.

Pictured Rocks

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a nice area of rocky shore on Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Perhaps a hike or a boat trip would be a neat way to see these features.

Columbia River Gorge

The Columbia River Gorge area of Oregon and Washington, has an iconic scene of a bridge with the magnificent Multnomah Falls in the background on the Oregon side. Also nearby is the Oneonta Gorge, which features a seemingly very wet journey through the bottom of a gorgeous green-walled chasm to a tall lovely waterfall.

Old Man of Storr

The Old Man of Storr is a place on the Isle of Skye known for geological formations that are tall and cool-looking, to my knowledge. The area looks quite pretty.

Lauterbrunnen

This place in Switzerland is located in a tall valley, with greenery, mountains, and waterfalls.

Cliffs of Moher

Ireland's Cliffs of Moher are quite famous, and look quite pretty, with a grassy rim that has great views.

Mount Bromo

The ridges, craters, and other things that metaphorically scream "VOLCANO", in great scale, contribute to the attractiveness of Java's Mount Bromo as a destination, at least to me, kinda.

Grand Teton

This mountain, its Teton Range, and the National Park surrounding it, all appear to be worth seeing. The colors of the mountains, the trees, the plains, the water, and the sky, I consider very promising. This looks like a beautiful place.

Congaree National Park

This South Carolina park includes some really impressive-looking forest and river scenery. Apparently, the trees and wildlife seem worth protecting. The colors here seem to be lovely.

Canyonlands National Park

The topographical features of this place look amazing. There seem to be awesome views all over this park, including ones of canyons, arches, spires, and the Colorado River.

Acadia National Park

This coastal area (I think it's an island) of Maine is quite a famous national park, and many picturesque photos have been taken of it, I think.

Korean Demilitarized Zone

Visiting border locations (safely and legally, of course) along the Korean DMZ might be quite an interesting experience. I'm particularly interesting in the Conference Room where visitors are allowed to cross the border staying inside the room (if that's still an option). Seeing the North Korean flagpole, likely the tallest in the world, might also be neat.

Seoraksan

Seoraksan National Park appears to be quite popular, with neat things to do, and it seems like a beautiful place, with mountains and interesting terrain.

Bukhansan

Bukhansan National Park appears to be located pretty much in or by the huge urban area of Seoul. The bare rocks of the mountain(s) and the surrounding scenery look quite different than most mountains here in North America I've seen, and the colors of it look nicely done, too.

Cape Perpetua

This coastal area of Oregon is reportedly quite scenic. Also, a "Spouting Horn" around here is reportedly quite a show at certain times of tidal activity.

Manpupuner

There are quite interesting rock formations, which are quite large, in a site called Manpupuner in Russia's Komi Republic. They're also called the "Seven Giants" or "Seven Strong Men", I think. They're big, weird, and cool-looking, so it seems worth checking out.

Lena Pillars

The Lena Pillars, or Lena's Stone Forest, apparently were formed with erosion. They are likely remote, but they seem to be quite impressive.

Churchill River

The Churchill River in Labrador includes at least one big waterfall, and goes through some kind of gorge or canyon on its way to the Atlantic Ocean. It seems quite scenic.

Pyongyang

This place is probably pretty freaky. It's got a neat-looking tall hotel building or something, too But the freakiness is probably the main attraction.

Saint John's

This capital city of Newfoundland seems to have some pretty architecture, with colorful exteriors and historic charm or something like that I guess. It is historic, though, I think, and since it's probably the main city in Newfoundland, it's likely to have some interesting things.

Signal Hill might be neat to see.

Cape Saint Mary's

This rocky coastal place has this thing that's known for having a bunch of these birds on it at once, which looks cool I assume.

Gros Morne

A scene in Gros Morne National Park looks like a canyon with a large river at its bottom, but with large tabl-elike mountains as its walls and rim. The green, blue, and grey come together in one of Newfoundland's most famous landscapes.

Torngat Mountains

The Torngat Mountains of Quebec and Labrador offer some beautiful isolated landscapes, with tall slopes above and valleys beneath with great vistas.

Vancouver

Vancouver, British Columbia, is one of the primary cities of Canada. It's in an area with natural beauty, and this city is the center (or "centre") of much of the activity that happens in urban Canada. There are probably some interesting things to see/do here.

Little River Canyon

Alabama's Little River Canyon has some waterfalls I think, and a river and a canyon, and forest, and stuff like that. Charming, perhaps.

Saint John

Saint John is the island of the United States Virgin Islands that is the location of the Virgin Islands National Park, with lovely scenery, and a nice coral reef (unless that doesn't count as part of the island).

Rainbow Bridge

Wow. The Arizona-Utah border could be one of the most scenic political boundaries in the world. Apparently, Rainbow Bridge is the world's largest natural bridge or arch or something. It does look pretty pretty.

Ocmulgee

Ocmulgee National Monument features some pretty old mounds from "Native Americans", probably from thousands of years ago. Probably a neat setting within the city of Macon, Georgia.

Montzeuma Castle

I've seen a few cliff dwellings and such, but this one looks bigger and prettier, architecture-wise.

Devils Postpile

This place in California is another seemingly tough-to-get-to NPS unit, but the main feature, a something-gonal basalt cliff or something, looks worth seeing.

North Cascades National Park

This national park may be one of the most difficult national park units in the NPS to visit, mainly because the easy-to-get-to area isn't really in the National Park boundaries. Just crossing into the park could be a pleasant hike with a nice goofy motive.

Los Alamos

The Los Alamos area of northern New Mexico seems to have multiple interesting things to see/do. The city of Los Alamos itself has a few museums, I believe, and a nice downtown area, and a bridge overlooking a gorge I think. Nearby is White Rock, where a spot overlooking the Rio Grande I think is maintained and well-known. West of Los Alamos is the Valles Caldera, a beautiful area in a place designated as a supervolcano. The beauty is the more attractive part, not the volcano thing. And nearby is Bandelier National Monument, with remains of an ancient settlement or two, I think.

Castle Crags

The Castle Crags area is a place with cragged (or whatever word I'm looking for maybe) mountaintops that look neat, I think, in Northern California.

Sacsayhuaman

This seems to be some old fortress or monument from Incan Empire. The large scale of the stones used to build it appears to be the main attraction, and it really does look impressive from the pictures I've seen.

Atlantic Road

The Atlantic Road in Norway travels to multiple islands, goes over some of the Atlantic Ocean, and includes some bridges, one of them an iconic wavy bridge, I think.
