Bora Bora

Bora Bora is a world-famous (or maybe United States-famous) island in French Polynesia. It's likely very touristy, but the natural scenery here looks amazing. The clear water, the various vivid colors, and the impressive peaks like the amazing Mount Otemanu, all easily make my list of things to see.

Mangareva

Mangareva is a pretty island in French Polynesia's Gambier Islands. Its peaks like Mount Duff look like a nice place to climb and see the view below from. The villages look charming as well.

Guiana Space Center

The Spaceport in French Guiana is an interesting destination to me mainly because of its location. It's in France, but it's in that odd part of France that's in South America. Interesting that the European Space Agency uses a South America launch site.

Possession Island

Possession Island has some amazing scenes. The mountains and coastline look beautiful, and seeing this island from the top of the shoreline cliffs of nearby East Island would likely be a great sight. It appears to also be a good spot to see a huge bunch of penguins, maybe if the time is right, since it's closer to Antarctica than other places.

Saint Helena

The island of Saint Helena looks like a beautiful island, and one with an interesting history. I'd say it seems like a great place to tour. Jamestown has a tall staircase (I think) nicknamed (maybe) "Jacob's Ladder". Napoleon had an interesting history there, I think. There's a gorgeous waterfall landscape, and nice mountainous terrain. Worth a visit, I think.

Plymouth

Plymouth was a community that was very visibly affected by a volcano flow recently. Now, it's probably one of the rare sights in the world: a Caribbean island town that looks like a post-apocalyptic scene. Probably an interesting place to visit.

Arecibo Observatory

This observatory/telescope-thing is huge, and probably an interesting place to visit. Seeing this massive structure alone would likely be neat, but the surrounding Puerto Rican mountains and forest might also be a nice addition. I think there's a visitor center at the observatory, too!

Two Lovers' Point

Guam's outlook point called Two Lovers' Point seems to have quite a nice view. Apparently, the waves below sometimes form a heart-like shape, which is kind of cute. The views of the island from here are likely the main attraction, though.

Kalaupapa

The Kalaupapa Peninsula of Molokai is interesting for two reasons. One reason is its interesting historical background as a leper colony. Another reason, probably less known and appreciated, is its status as the smallest county in the United States by some definitions (maybe).

Also, this place is tough to get to, and views of the cliffs to the south from here I'm curious to see.

Halawa Valley

Halawa Valley is a very green (forested, jungled, or something) valley in eastern Molokai. There are some impressive waterfalls visible from here.

Dry Valleys

The Dry Valleys of Antarctica look quite extraterrestrial, y'know, for a place on Earth. It appears to be basically some of the few (or only) places on Antarctica that aren't covered by snow. The mountains look beautiful, and walking on the dry surface here might be an amazing experience. There are also bodies of water such as lakes, which might behave strangely depending on the weather when one visits.

Chimanimani Mountains

These mountains have waterfalls and are themselves fairly interesting to look at, I think. The colors here, along with the grand terrain, might make for some excellent vistas.

Great Zimbabwe

These ruins are apparently famous enough to name an entire country after them. I assume they're historical and big.

Halong Bay

Halong Bay may be Vietnam's most famous natural wonder. I think it even got featured on that big poll of natural wonders recently.

So many islands, mountains, peninsulas, and water to look at here! (also "Bai Tu Long Bay" to the northeast might be a good less touristy alternative which also looks impressive)

Cerro Autana

Cerro Autana is an impressively-shaped tepui in southern Venezuela. The colors and shapes here look like a masterpiece of creation.

Yasur

Yasur is a famous volcano, very active I think, on the island of Tanna in Vanuatu. The fiery colors of a nighttime eruption might be quite a neat sight, though I wouldn't want to go into too much danger.

Punta del Este

"La Mano", a sculpture representation of a hand, or something, is a famous place in Punta del Este, Uruguay. I understand this is a small, insignificant, weird thing to list on this list, but... here it is.

Another, bigger, place to visit around Punta del Este is Casa Pueblo, which reminds me of Santorini in Greece. I kind of like the way it looks in pictures better in some ways, though, I think, maybe.

Saint Kilda

Saint Kilda is an island, which I think is included in the Outer Hebrides. It's got those lovely-looking green hills, and some old stone structures that I assume are very, very old. And even if they're no,t they look really neat on this isolated-like island. There are totally some great views available here, I think.

Giant's Causeway

The Giant's Causeway is a very famous location in Northern Ireland. It's a curiosity of nature, with hexagonally-shaped pieces of rock or something. Hmm, it actually does look kinda cool! Also, the visitor center/centre looks kinda cool too.

Fujairah Fort

In Fujairah, there is a large old fort structure, and much of its history seems unknown. It was recently restored, and it looks kinda nice.

Hoverla

Ukraine's highest point, Hoverla, is part of the Carpathian Mountains. It's covered with green (or white in winter, I suppose), and there are bright flowers around here as well. The area near the top looks especially beautiful, with rolling topography and such.

Cape Fiolent

Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula's Cape Fiolent's scenery's viewing opportunities look excellent. The rocky coast it's part of looks like a neat place to walk around.

Rwenzori Mountains

The Rwenzori Mountains appear to be quite a unique mountainous area. The African plantlife here looks fantastical, and the snow here would possibly be considered misplaced in the jungle areas of Africa. There are waterfalls and rock features I think, and overall it looks like a beautiful place.

Murchison Falls

Uganda's Murchison Falls look pretty, and they seem neat enough to have a national park named for them.

Funafuti

Funafuti is the main atoll of Tuvalu, hosting its capital and its largest population (I think). Tuvalu's main government building looks quite nice, and the great length of the islands' large "arms" might be an interesting journey.

Darvaza Gas Crater

Near Darvaza in Turkmenistan is a crater that is known for being quite a fiery sight at night. Apparently, there was a gas accident here a long time ago, and the resulting burning hasn't yet stopped.

Cappadocia

Cappadocia, Goreme, whatever. It's got very odd terrain, and some home seem to have been built out of the very odd terrain as well. Interesting enough for me, I think.

Tamerza

In the area of a place called Tamerza in Tunisia are a few nice-looking places. There is a canyon in a nearby place called Mides, and an oasis in another nearby place called Chebika. Tamerza itself, appearing to be in a gorge of its own, also looks interesting.

Mont Saint Michel

Mont Saint Michel is known for a castle-like structure on an elevated piece of terrain on a scenic peninsula area. Not sure exactly what it is, but it really does look cool, and I probably wouldn't be disappointed at the way it looks.

Delhi

This was originally a "Red Fort" post, but I've since found out that there's other neat stuff in Delhi. There's the Red Fort which is large, impressive, and reddish. There's the tomb of Humayun, one of those Mughal emperors (learned that from Britannica). There's the Parliament building, or the Lok Sabha building, or the Gandhi stuff like Raj Ghat, or something. There's this mall-like thing which features the Presidential building, a big spire/column, and at least one museum it seems.

Delhi seems to be quite an important city, and there seems to be a lot of neat stuff to look at here.
