Bokor National Park in Cambodia looks beautiful, and the old abandoned buildings are like the star attraction for me. They're so old and abandoned! Seriously they look really neat in the middle of all that Cambodia

New Echota

In Georgia. Early capital of the Cherokee Nation, before the Trail of Tears. Some historic buildings including Samuel Worcester's and Elias Boudinot's homes, the Phoenix press building, and government buildings, are here.

Tahlequah

In Oklahoma; also Park Hill nearby. Capital of the western band of Cherokee I think. Samuel Worcester's grave is here as well as the Cherokee National Museum or something. This place probably has a lot of stories, being one of the main Cherokee sites after the Trail of Tears happened.

Pretty temple mountain place in Gujarat that appears to be very special to Jains.

Harau Valley

Italian town with weird conical rock houses it almost seems American kitschy but its in italy ok

colosseum-like thing i guess its ancient anyway its in tunisia somewhere it looks weird in the middle of a town or something and apparnelty some o the wall got pwned by something to do with ottoman empire or something i dont know

Naqsh-e Rostam

ancient tomb site in Iran which looks really ancient and epic which apparently includes tombs of guys like Darius and Xexres woa

Site of a famous massacre and other events in the Pine Ridge Reservation.

Bartolome

One of the Galapagos Islands, with beautiful views. Pinnacle Rock seems to be the most famous landscape attraction.

Ring of Life

A huge ring thing in Fushun, China, apparently. Kinda looks similar to the Gateway Arch. One of those odd-looking Chinese construction projects or something maybe.

Old River Control Complex

So apparently if this thing goes, the Mississippi River will change course and this would likely cause enormous short-term economic damage and stuff. No more Mississippi River in New Orleans. Wow. Randall Munroe has found some really interesting stuff.

Ruins of a city that was once pretty big or something with Arab and Portuguese history or something. Now in Tanzania.

Used to be a pretty influential city.

Famous mosque in Casablanca.

Presidio Modelo

Cool looking abandoned former prison on Juventud Island in Cuba. Apparently it was based on a prison in Illinois where they had a guard in the middle and all the prisoners circularly surrounding the center so the prisoners wouldn't know if they were being observed or something. Weird, possibly controversial, possibly tragic, but today it's a historic site that has an interesting setting.

Paracas National Reserve

beautiful desert coast area of Peru. with apparent biological significance too I suppose. very pretty anyway

Pungo Andongo

Neat bunch of pretty large rocks in northern Angola. There seem to be various rock landscapes in the area. Probably some great views are available in this region.

Alhambra

Famous Moorish (I think) palace in southern Spain. Looks quite pretty in various ways.

Hoba Meteorite

Apparently a big meteorite. i think a meteorite is what happens when the meteor lands on earth so now its a meteorite not a meteor. Anyway, something to see in Namibia.
