Iquitos

Iquitos is a populated place along the Amazon River. There are numerous hut-like structures around here, along with your general pretty South American buildings. The hut village thing on the water seems the most interesting about this place to me, though. All those kinds of buildings together, with water instead of streets between them, look really cool like that.

Lima

Lima has pretty buildings and neat mountains I think. It looks pretty pretty.

Rabaul

This location on Papua New Guinea's island of New Britain has a great view of the nearby volcanoes Tavurvur and Vulcan, at least one of which I think has been continuously active for a while, displaying a huge plume of smoke quite often I think. It might be neat to see from Rabaul.

Tufi

In eastern new Guinea, a fjord area called Tufi seems to provide opportunities for neat views and walks as well as interesting cultural discoveries.

Rock Islands

Palau's Rock Islands look beautiful, magnificent, and very artistic. The deep green and clear blue and huge fascinating twists and turns really make for a lovely scene.

Ararat

I think Mount Ararat is cool. Geology, history, and such.

Tre Cime di Lavaredo

These three (or maybe six, according to SummitPost) enormous shapes are located in the Dolomites of Italy. These features look so impressive, they could be a global destination all by themselves.

Sumela Monastery

It's like Mesa Verde, with the buildings on/in mountains, but with a monastery in Turkey.

Acapulco

Acapulco's coast features some neat scenery of the city and of natural features, is my guess. If there are nice places to hike or walk along these scenic views, that could be a nice way to spend some time.

Stonehenge

Not really a destination due to its poor quality. More like a goofy roadside stop.

Strasbourg

Strasbourg, France, is not only scenic, but also is home to a tall famous cathedral as well as various buildings greatly used by the European Union.

Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre ("five lands") are villages on cliffs in Italy, I think. In particular, Vernazza looks pretty with its multicolored buildings.

Palo Duro Canyon

Texas's Palo Duro Canyon was a surprising discovery on the map for me. I generally don't think of interesting topography when contemplating the Texas "panhandle", but apparently, there's quite a nice canyon here.

Volcan Masaya

Volcan Masaya is apparently an active volcano in Nicaragua, with quite a nice spot to view the crater. The height and terrain seem to make for quite a dazzling appearance.

Mother Russia

Mother Russia, or "The Motherland Calls", is one of the world's largest statues. Located at Mamayev Hill in Volgograd, this statue seems to be a memorial of a Russian World War II victory. Whatever it was built for, it looks pretty impressive.

Great Wall of China

This is one of the, if not the, longest man-made structures in the world, I think. The way it goes up and down crossing mountains and valleys looks fascinating.

Nambung National Park

In Australia, there are some interesting apparently-natural pinnacles in Nambung National Park.

Mount Eden

In or near Auckland is a hill-like thing called Mount Eden, I think. The views from here look great, and the "mount" itself also looks nice.

Cathedral Cove

This New Zealand location is mainly known to me due to its role in one of the Narnia movies. It certainly looks beautiful, though.

Alamo

The Alamo is a historic mission in San Antonio, Texas. It looks kinda small and such, but its history and fame could make it worth stopping at.

Hoover Dam

The Hoover Dam is probably the United States's most famous dam.

Cape Town

Table Mountain, by or in Cape Town, is possibly the most famous natural wonder of South Africa, which I think I'd like to see. Also, Cape Point, to the south of the city center, looks like an awesome sight.

Abu Simbel

Abu Simbel contains some big, famous ancient Egyptian structures allegedly built for Ramesses II.

Poás

In Costa Rica, there is a volcano called Volcán Poás that might be worth a visit.

Bridge of the Americas

Crossing the Panama Canal is the large Bridge of the Americas. It looks pretty, and it's a logistically significant part of the world I think.

Antigua

Antigua is a colorful city in Guatemala, with great views of a large nearby volcano.

Baños

The city of Baños, Ecuador, appears to be a geologically strange place, with waterfalls and nearby volcanic activity.

Huacachina

This place seems cool because it looks like a Peruvian oasis in a South American desert. Not sure if it technically is, though. Still looks kinda cool to me.

Guatapé

A lake and mountain area, I think known as Guatapé, in Colombia appears very scenic. In this lake area are islands, peninsulas, and a prominent rock, of and from which are likely gorgeous vistas.

Copper Canyon

Mexico's Copper Canyon looks like a beautiful place to visit.
