Ring of Life

A huge ring thing in Fushun, China, apparently. Kinda looks similar to the Gateway Arch. One of those odd-looking Chinese construction projects or something maybe.

Presidio Modelo

Cool looking abandoned former prison on Juventud Island in Cuba. Apparently it was based on a prison in Illinois where they had a guard in the middle and all the prisoners circularly surrounding the center so the prisoners wouldn't know if they were being observed or something. Weird, possibly controversial, possibly tragic, but today it's a historic site that has an interesting setting.

Paracas National Reserve

beautiful desert coast area of Peru. with apparent biological significance too I suppose. very pretty anyway

Pungo Andongo

Neat bunch of pretty large rocks in northern Angola. There seem to be various rock landscapes in the area. Probably some great views are available in this region.

Alhambra

Famous Moorish (I think) palace in southern Spain. Looks quite pretty in various ways.

In Victoria, this building looks really pretty, especially the way they decorate it with lights.

Yankich Island

In the island chain known as Kuril, one particular island known as Yankich exists. With its jagged peaks, caldera bay, and overall fantastical appearance, it says, "I am Yankich Island, and I am bigger than you."
