Bijagos Islands

The Bijagos Islands, or Arquipelago dos Bijagos, of Guinea-Bissau look stunning from space, and pictures of these isolated places seem to reveal a look into history. I am surprised that I haven't earlier heard of this archipelago, but it's possible that since Guinea-Bissau is such an overlooked country, it's not well-known in my area. Upon discovering these islands, I hope to learn more about them from experience someday.
