Ouidah
Ouidah is an interesting place by or on the coast of the Gulf of Guinea in southern Benin. In its area and/or vicinity, there are at least two interesting monuments/landmarks. Two places I've seen in proximity to each other at the moment are the Door of No Return, apparently a significant location for the historical slave trade; and the Millennium Monument (also called the Memorial du Grand Jubilé), which apparently commemorates the second coming of Christ.
