Arakao

In the Tenere Desert, part of the Sahara probably, there's a crater of a volcano (apparently extinct or inactive) called Arakao. It looks very isolated and very amazing. There are sand dunes at the bottom of the crater, and the rim seems to be made of mountains (of the Air group) colored black or dark gray. Looks really neat, though getting there could be tough.
