Normandy

The historic significance of what happened at Normandy, France, seems to make some places here an interesting visit. At Pointe du Hoc, there are views of the ocean, as well as of numerous craters from bombs, I assume. Nearby to the east is what seems to be quite a large cemetery and a memorial.
